The system of interacting electrons in two dimensions has been the breeding ground for some of the most astonishing and exotic manifestations of the quantum nature of our world at a macroscopic scale. These include integer and fractional quantum Hall effects, fractional charge, Chern numbers, composite fermions, Abelian and non-Abelian anyons, chiral Luttinger liquids, composite-Fermi liquids, skyrmions, Chern-Simons field theory, topological superconductivity, topological quantum computation, Majorana modes, topological insulators, web of dualities, topological phase transitions, quantum anomalous Hall effect, graphene, moiré and van der Waals systems, and fractional quantum anomalous Hall effect.
The aim of the biennial workshop series is to provide a forum for discussing recent developments and future directions in this field.
